Branding

Chuck Braud – Artist

We were commissioned to design a logo for Baton Rouge area, sports artist, Chuck Braud.  Creating his works primarily with pastels, he creates absolutely stunning sports pieces.  We highly recommend you visit his site and commission him for any work you might want done.  Pretty sure it doesn’t have to be sports.  But it’s fantastic.

Sports Card Uncensored

We got together with Adam over at Sports Cards Uncensored to put together a whole new look for his blog.  The idea was to make the look as though it were a ‘team’.  So we started with designing a ‘logo patch’, mimicking what you would see on the sleeve of a baseball team.  From there we laid out a word mark and banners for the site.  If you haven’t already, please go to www.sportscardsuncensored.com and read Adam’s articles.  They are tremendously insightful, well written and often humorous.

TFG Rebrand

Upon being hired as the Creative Director for The Fletcher Group, my first task was to rebrand the company.  The name was known but the look was stale.  TFG is in an area dying for great design, and for the company to have a stale design wasn’t going to help us push clients to fresh new looks and well designed work.  We went from a simple Times lower case font ‘tfg’ to a simply designed Klavika logo mark.  Not to be overly flashy, we added a splash of a mild orange to liven it up.  For the TFG word mark, we eliminated the serifs of the Times font previously used and replaced it with a very clean all caps Verlag font.  We feel as though this new look will advance us full steam into a new era of TFG designing and production.
